nobody better than Bluffton Pressure Washing

Bluffton Pressure Washing

We get a lot of great questions—probably because pressure washing sounds simple until bleach, algae, HOAs, and gravity get involved. Below are the most common things homeowners and property managers ask us.

What services do you offer?

We provide full exterior cleaning services, including:

If it lives outside and looks tired, we can probably clean it.

What is soft washing and how is it different from pressure washing?

Soft washing uses low pressure combined with professional cleaning solutions to safely remove mold, mildew, algae, and bacteria.
Pressure washing relies on high pressure.

Rule of thumb:

  • Roofs, siding, and delicate surfaces = soft washing

  • Concrete and hard surfaces = pressure washing

We choose the method that cleans best without damage—because replacing siding is way more expensive than cleaning it.

Is your cleaning process safe for my home and landscaping?

Yes—when done correctly. We use a bleach neutralizer on flowering vegetation. We also use industry-approved methods and take steps to protect plants, grass, and surrounding areas. Landscaping is pre-watered and post-rinsed when needed.

That said, outdoor environments already have wear and tear. Our goal is to clean—not perform miracles or turn 20-year-old paint into factory-new.

Will pressure washing damage my house?

Not when done by professionals.
Damage usually happens when someone uses too much pressure, the wrong angle, or the wrong surface cleaner (or all three… from a ladder).

We match the method to the surface and avoid anything that could cause damage.

How often should I have my house washed?

In the Lowcountry climate:

  • Homes: once per year

  • Roofs: every 1–3 years

  • Concrete: annually or as needed

Humidity and shade make algae aggressive down here—it doesn’t take a year off.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Nope.
As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and an exterior water source, you do not need to be present.

Many customers go to work and come home to a very confused-looking house (because it’s suddenly clean).

What do I need to do before your arrival?

Great question—this helps everything go smoothly.

Before We Arrive, Please:

  • ✔️ Close all windows and doors

  • ✔️ Secure pets indoors or away from work areas

  • ✔️ Remove vehicles from the driveway

  • ✔️ Move lightweight outdoor furniture, planters, or décor

  • ✔️ Turn off exterior electrical items if applicable

  • ✔️ Make sure we have access to a working water spigot

If something can be moved easily and safely, it helps—but don’t stress. We’re cleaners, not judges.

What about outdoor items like patio furniture or grills?

We recommend moving smaller items out of the way if possible.
For heavier items, we’ll work around them—but full cleaning underneath may be limited.

Will my windows get wet?

Yes.
Exterior washing involves water (shocking, we know). We take care around windows, but minor water intrusion due to pre-existing seals, caulking, or age is always possible.

Do you use bleach?

We use professional-grade solutions designed to eliminate organic growth safely and effectively.
Everything is applied responsibly, rinsed thoroughly, and chosen based on the surface being cleaned. Short answer, YES, but we have other bio-friendly options as well.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully insured and operate professionally—because nobody wants a pressure washer accident story.

How long does the cleaning take?

It depends on the service and property size, but most residential jobs take 1–3 hours.

Larger homes, roofs, or commercial properties may take longer.

How long will the results last?

Results vary based on:

  • Shade

  • Moisture

  • Surrounding trees

  • Surface type

Most homes stay noticeably clean for 12 months or more, often longer.

Do you offer commercial pressure washing?

Absolutely.
We work with:

  • HOAs

  • Property managers

  • Retail centers

  • Warehouses

  • Office buildings

Consistent exterior cleaning protects property value and keeps compliance notices away.

What if I notice something after the job?

Let us know.
If something doesn’t look right, we want to hear about it promptly so we can address it.

How do I get a quote?

Easy:

Fast quotes. No pressure. Just clean surfaces.
